Dr. Shamus has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for almost two decades! He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany and his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry before completing specialized post-graduate training in orthodontics from NYU College of Dentistry where he received his certification in orthodontics. He was valedictorian of his dental school class at NYU.

An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Shamus is considered Board-eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics, is a recent former clinical instructor at NYU College of Dentistry Post-Graduate Orthodontic program.

He is an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the following:

• American Association of Orthodontists (AAO)
• Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO)
• Ninth District Dental Society
• American Dental Association (ADA)

When not in the office, Dr. Shamus enjoys working out, running, biking, hiking and playing golf with his wife and two children.
